Abducted Magnolia Girl Found Safe in South Texas
The Magnolia girl who disappeared with a former family friend earlier this week has been found safe in South Texas, family members say.
Authorities issued an Amber Alert on Tuesday for Elizabeth Rex, 14.
The girl’s family said Elizabeth, known as “Lizzy,” was taken by Randy Johnson, 51.
According to family, the suspect in the case worked with Lizzy’s dad, Patrick. The Rex family took Johnson in after learning he was battling cancer and had nowhere to go, but they later kicked him out after they say he got a little too friendly with Lizzy.
On Monday, the girl walked outside and simply vanished.
