Texas Man Killed Following Argument About “300: Rise of an Empire”
A 23-year-old Texas man was struck and killed by a pickup truck early Monday outside a movie theater in suburban Houston during an argument about the ending of “300: Rise of an Empire.”
Family members identified the dead man as Michael Emerson, a college student and movie buff, KHOU-TV reported.
Police have yet to find the suspects, described as two men driving a white Ford F-150 crew cab truck.
“Help us find out who did this to Michael so we can get justice for him and our family,” Emerson’s mother, Stevie Garner, told the TV station. “It feels like a dream, it doesn’t feel real to me right now. I’m good for five minutes and I cry for hours.”
