Texas Billionaire John Goodman’s Bentley is Back in Texas
Houston billionaire John Goodman might be in Florida fighting a DUI manslaughter conviction, but the luxury car he was allegedly driving at the time of the fatal accident has made its way back to Texas.
The 2007 black Bentley Continental GTC convertible was bought by Sugar Land businessman Ryne Manahan for $11,000, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
Manahan reportedly bought the car, which was badly damaged in the crash, hoping to use it for parts for another Bentley he owns. But after finding some essential components missing, the car enthusiast has decided to restore the car.
John Goodman is awaiting retrial in his case after his original conviction was overturned because of juror misconduct.
The 49-year-old polo mogul was found guilty in March 2012 of DUI-manslaughter and vehicular homicide, stemming from a hit-and-run crash in 2010.
