Rangers’ Cruz Denies Performance-Enhancing Drug Report
ARLINGTON — The attorneys representing Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz issued a statement Thursday denying that Cruz had any involvement with performing-enhancing drugs.
“We are aware of certain allegations and inferences made in the January 29, 2012 edition of the Miami New Times,” his law firm stated. “To the extent that these allegations and inferences refer to Nelson, they are denied.”
