Texas Blues Guitar Legend Jimmie Vaughan Recovers from Heart Attack

Texas blues guitar legend Jimmie Vaughan is recovering after a suffering a heart attack on January 23rd while in California.

Vaughan, 61, had an acute Myocardial Infarction.

Following a coronary angioplasty and a stent placement, Vaughan was released from Pamona Hospital Medical Center in Southern California on January 25th.

According to Vaughan’s management, the guitarist is feeling fine but will stay off the road for a month to rest at his Central Texas home.
