Prosecutor Killed by Two Shooters Outside Texas Courthouse

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A Kaufman County prosecutor was shot outside the courthouse Thursday, spurring a complete lockdown of the grounds and an active search for the two shooters.

According to an email from the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office that was sent to attorneys and staff, the prosecutor has died.
