Texas Man Killed in Algerian Terrorist Attack, Daughter Speaks Out
Erin Lovelady, the daughter of Victor Lovelady who was killed in a terrorist attack at a remote Algerian gas plant this past weekend, remembered her father Tuesday as a kind man in whom she could confide anything.
She said the last time she saw her father was at a family Christmas celebration while he was home from Algeria in between assignments at the plant in the southeastern Algeria desert near Libya and also near Mali, also a Sahara desert country in which French forces recently have battled terrorists allied with Al Qaeda, also suspected of launching the attack on the gas plant on Jan. 16.
