With college football season giving way to college football letter-of-intent season, ESPN’sRecruitingNation has conducted an analysis of what it calls “The Great College Football Migration,” breaking down recruiting trends from 1940 through 2010.
A lot has changed, except one thing: Texas had the most players in 1940 (126, trailed by Pennsylvania with 104), and the most players by far in 2010 (478, with California at 200).
