Texas Radio Station Falsely Tells Listeners George Bush Senior Died
A Texas radio station was forced to apologize on Thursday after falsely reporting that former president George H.W. Bush had died.
The Dallas Observer flagged the error from local station WBAP. The station not only reported that Bush — who has been in the hospital for weeks due to complications from bronchitis — was dead, but it also sent out breaking news alerts to its email followers.
