LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Minutes into The Home Depot College Football Awards, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel had already received a birthday cake from Aggie offensive lineman Luke Joeckel in a made-for-ESPN moment and won the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award.
“Doesn’t get much better than that,” said Manziel, who turned 20 Thursday.
