Texas State Rep. Joe Pickett Proposes New System to Aid Drivers
El Paso commuters can find out about special events, unusual weather, vehicle wreck sites, the best route for travel and save time on the road with a coordinated traffic system, says state Rep. Joe Pickett.
Pickett, D-El Paso, said he is proposing such a system for the region, which, among other things, would help El Pasoans cope better with ongoing transportation construction and communicate timely information about events at the civic center, Plaza Theatre, the University of Texas at El Paso and other venues.
