Houston News: 24 Suspected Illegal Immigrants Found Crammed in One Van
Two dozen suspected illegal immigrants were found crammed into a van outside a southwest Houston home early Thursday morning, said officials with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Men, women, and children were among those in the van.
It was sometime before 5 a.m. officers with the Houston Police Department said they spotted a few suspicious people standing outside the van near Hillcroft Avenue and Edgemoor Drive. When police approached, they said the individuals scattered.
