Texas to Put Ban on Texting While Driving
Former Texas House Speaker Tom Craddick filed legislation Monday to ban texting while driving on the first day state lawmakers could introduce bills for the upcoming legislative session.
Texas lawmakers passed a similar statewide ban on texting while driving two years ago, but Gov. Rick Perry vetoed the bill because he considered it government overreach.
